The MSU Trombone Troupe acknowledges the rich musical past and the exciting future of the trombone ensemble by performing a wide array of literature ranging from Renaissance transcriptions to new commissioned works and student compositions.
Comprised of MSU students, faculty and community members, the ensemble rehearses once a week and performs several times a semester, both on and off campus. The group uses rotating seating so that members will have exposure to a variety of roles within the ensemble and gain experience in the unique challenges of low, middle and upper register playing.
